birthday sleepover

I can always count on the amazing adalie to paint with me. We found an adorable little tea set at the craft store (my sons used to call it the "crap store") and had to take it home. Addie divided up the parts and we went to work. We started out painting our own thing and then we started copying each other's designs..painting in unison. So much fun
I have to add the digression..you will understand my family a lot better when you know we can't just do serious creating without losing our dignity a little. When Addie found some blank plastic cards and a dry erase marker, she ventured into captions of her own. Pretty sure she's taking after her dad now.

the freaks come out at night

I should commit to making monsters on Saturday night with my D.T. girls. I had such fun making this creature. If I gather some felted old sweaters, stuffing, floss and doo dads (wire, beads, buttons, found objects) and throw it all out in the center of girlies...ya, we can do a whole Monster Mash. That can be our halloween project/contest WINNER.

start seeing grace

I learned long ago that religion limits me..but I still needed a daily practice of spirituality.
Each day there is an opportunity to witness grace. Each day there is an opportunity to be grace for someone else.
All the love, Tori
